We have a shared wound of grief as a nation

Sine nxeba

Our freedom has been won by bloodshed that has never been fully acknowledged.

We enjoy the freedom we have today standing on the unmarked graves of those who fought for us all.

This grief binds us as we try to move forward.

This is the work we have created as sisters grieving together over the years that we have been doing the work which he have been called to do.

We share it now in the hope that it will free you from your grief, and bring you closer to those no longer here and the things they left undone.

So that you can make your peace with them, by telling them your frustrations and instructing them on what you need them to do in order for you to be able to move forward with your life and with the work of rebuilding the legacy that is the inheritance of your bloodline.

we look back before we look forward.

Grief can be a Gift

if we ignore our grief it turns to poison in our bodies

if we acknowledge and process our grief with the help of our ancestors

we can turn this poison into medicine for living
